Today, 4% of the Swiss population, representing some 377’000 people, experience some level of visual impairment, including a significant number of working age individuals. Less than half of them have a career of their choice due to social barriers, limited information, and the resulting lack of integration into work teams. That is regrettable for numerous reasons, but also because «VIPs» have both identical and different skill sets to non-VIPs that would allow them to add considerable value.
